Natural gourds hand painted and lacquered in a prehispanic technique known as "maque", consists of smoothing paste and colorings made from finely ground dolomites, oils and mineral pigments. Gourd is hand burnished and polished giving it a beautiful gloss. (Uses replaceable tea light candles).
